Summer Mural Project
This summer I had the pleasure of working on a large-scale mural inside South Elementary School in my hometown of Hingham, MA.
Painting the white wall of an elementary school with splashes of color I think is a dream of most people who grow up to become artists.
The mural reflects themes of what students learn in their classes, but in abstract images and symbols that leave plenty of room for imagination. There are hidden elements in the piece and I hope that students will find themselves rediscovering new details as they look at the wall over the years they spend at the school.
